Kris van der Plas

Kris Van der Plas is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in public affairs and regulatory compliance within the automotive and aerospace sectors. Currently serving as the Head of EU Public and Regulatory Affairs at LKQ Europe since November 2021, Kris is responsible for shaping the company's lobbying strategies and engaging with key political stakeholders across Europe. Previous roles include Chief Strategy Cooperation Officer at Sol.One, Managing Director of the Flemish Aerospace Group, and various influential positions at the European Aviation Safety Agency, European Cockpit Association, and Honda Motor Europe, where Kris focused on safety policy and government relations.
