As the Chief Operations Officer at EMW Digital, Kelly manages and assists the skilled team of marketing professionals to best serve the clients. Each role she has held at EMW prepared her to hire, delegate, coach and encourage each team member she have added along the way. In her current role as C.O.O., she enjoys building strong relationships with the clients and employees, overseeing the successful marketing campaigns, advising on design and content development strategies, and learning about the ever-changing industry of digital marketing.
After graduating with her Bachelor of Public Relations from Texas Tech University, she began working full-time as a content writer for EMW Digital. While building and leading a strong team of content developers, she completed her Master of Strategic Communication & Innovation at Texas Tech University, giving her a greater understanding of communicative and behavioral differences in the workplace, and how to lead diverse talent through collaborative relationships.
Kelly takes pride in setting realistic expectations for clients and employees alike, while encouraging each project manager to reach and exceed set objectives. By allowing team members to choose how they reach goals, she avoid team burnout – making employee turnover incredibly low. Retainer client turnover also remains below the standard industry rate due to a strong focus on exemplary customer service and long-term relationships – even through remote work.
