Yara Abdallah

Yara Abdallah is an accomplished communication professional with extensive experience in various organizations. Currently serving as a Communication Officer at Enabel since November 2022, Yara has previously worked as a Policy and Campaign Officer for the Gender Justice Program at Oxfam from July 2021 to November 2022. Prior to that, Yara held the position of Senior Communications Officer at VNG International from May 2019 to December 2020. Additional roles include Institutional and Communication Specialist at the Water Sector Regulatory Council from October 2016 to April 2019, and Publication and Information Officer at Birzeit University from January 2013 to November 2016. Yara began a career in media analysis as a Monitor and Media Analyst at the Palestinian Government Media Center within the Prime Minister's Office from November 2010 to November 2012. Educational credentials include a Master’s degree in International Studies from Birzeit University (2011-2014) and a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism and Political Science from the same university (2006-2010), complemented by an International Baccalaureate in Arts from Friends Schools (1992-2006).
