Ben Chidester

Benjamin Chidester currently serves as a Scientist at Enable Medicine since September 2023. Previously, Chidester held various positions at Carnegie Mellon University, including Project Scientist and Postdoctoral Researcher from April 2017 to January 2023. Chidester's academic journey in Electrical and Computer Engineering began with a Bachelor's degree from Carnegie Mellon University, followed by a Master's and PhD from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Chidester's research includes significant contributions during a tenure as a Research Intern at Microsoft and as a Researcher at Nuvixa, focusing on the development of algorithms for image analysis tailored for custom imaging hardware in mobile devices.
