Gonzalo Gutiérrez Botella

Gonzalo Gutiérrez Botella has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Gonzalo began their career in 2004 as a Site Manager in Ferrovial, where they managed construction projects. Gonzalo then worked as a Gerente de Promociones at Sacyr Vallehermoso, overseeing real estate development operations. In 2010, they joined Roland Berger Strategy Consultants as a Senior Consultant. Later, from 2013 to 2015, they worked at Virtus Partners as a Senior Consultant and Project Manager. In 2015, Botella joined Enagás as the Head of Business Development & Portfolio Management, responsible for managing the company's investment portfolio in Peru. Gonzalo was subsequently promoted to Director of Portfolio Management, where they oversaw investments in 11 natural gas infrastructure and renewable gas production companies in seven countries. In addition, they have held advisory roles as a member of the Board of Directors for various companies, including Enagás Renovable, TGP Perú, Terminal de LNG de Altamira S de RL de CV, and Trans Adriatic Pipeline (TAP) AG.

Gonzalo Gutiérrez Botella holds an MBA degree from IESE Business School, which they obtained from 2009 to 2011. In 2010, they also attended the Yale School of Management to pursue another MBA degree. Gonzalo completed their undergraduate studies at the Universidad de Cantabria, where they obtained a degree in Ingeniero de Caminos from 1997 to 2003. In 2016, they specialized in Capital Riesgo, M&A y Financiación de operaciones at IEB. Lastly, in 2021-2022, they pursued a Certificate in Company Direction from the Institute of Directors (IoD).
