Xiben Li

Xiben Li is a Principal Scientist at Enanta Pharmaceuticals, where drug discovery efforts focus on treating viral infections since June 2020, following a tenure as Senior Scientist. Previously, Xiben Li served as a Senior Research Scientist and Research Scientist II at Zikani Therapeutics from July 2016 to June 2020, contributing to the design and development of enhanced macrolide compounds. Academic experience includes a Postdoctoral Researcher role at Boston College in Prof. Amir Hoveyda's lab from April 2014 to June 2016, a Graduate Research Assistant position in Prof. Dennis Curran's lab at the University of Pittsburgh from September 2008 to March 2014, and a Graduate Teaching Assistant for Organic Chemistry Laboratory I. Xiben Li began academic training at Peking University, serving as an Undergraduate Researcher in Prof. Zhen Yang's research group and earned a B.S. in Chemistry before obtaining a PhD in Organic Chemistry from the University of Pittsburgh.
