Vincenzo Smorto

Vincenzo Smorto serves as the Chief Technology Officer at Enav since 2012, demonstrating significant expertise in the aviation sector. From July 2019 to August 2024, Vincenzo held the position of Executive Chairman at IDS AirNav, an ENAV group company. Prior experience includes roles as Director of Engineering and Technical Operations and Head of the ATM Software Department at Vitrociset from 2002 to 2011 and 1994 to 2001, respectively. Vincenzo also contributed to CISET SpA as a Software Development Project Manager from 1989 to 1993, focusing on the design and development of Flight Data Processing systems for Air Traffic Control Centers. Vincenzo holds a Laurea in Ingegneria Elettronica from Sapienza Università di Roma, earned between 1979 and 1984.
