Alfonso Garcia holds a Master’s degree in Materials Science from the University of Alberta and possesses extensive experience in pipeline integrity and corrosion engineering. Currently serving as a Corrosion Planning Supervisor for Enbridge Gas since January 2024, Alfonso Garcia previously held roles as a Senior Pipeline Integrity Engineer at Pembina Pipeline Corporation from January 2022 to January 2024 and at Enbridge Pipelines from May 2013 to December 2021. In earlier career stages, Alfonso Garcia worked as a Pipeline Integrity Engineer at Clearstone Engineering from September 2012 to May 2013, focusing on leak detection and flow monitoring. Areas of expertise include cathodic protection, internal corrosion, risk assessment, and advanced programming in Matlab, Python, and VBA.
