Rocío Romero López

Rockie C. is an experienced Program Manager at Lonza since March 2023, where leadership of multidisciplinary project teams has driven results in clinical manufacturing of biologics and fostered global collaborations. Prior to Lonza, Rockie served as Senior Scientist and Program Lead at CareDx, Inc., leading the development and automation of genomics-based diagnostics products and contributing to significant research publications on immune quiescence in kidney transplant recipients. Earlier roles include Senior Scientist at Senti Biosciences, where Rockie acted as the technical lead for gene therapy projects with Roche companies, and postdoctoral fellow at the University of California, Los Angeles. Rockie's educational background includes a Ph.D. in Cellular and Molecular Medicine from The Johns Hopkins University and a B.S. in Biology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
