Megan Walters, CHMM

Megan Walters, CHMM, has a diverse work experience in the environmental field. In 2019, they began working at Encamp as the VP of Compliance & Customer Success, and later as the Director of Compliance and Senior Environmental Scientist. From 2016 to 2019, they worked at GHD as an Environmental Scientist. From 2014 to 2016, they worked at Micronutrients as an Environmental Manager. From 2011 to 2014, they worked at Heritage Environmental Services as a Corporate Account Coordinator and Account Coordinator. In all of these roles, they provided expertise and guidance on environmental and safety regulations, managed client portfolios, oversaw and mentored staff, assisted with business development initiatives, provided regulatory interpretation and guidance to clients, conducted facility inspections, and performed compliance GAP analysis.

Megan Walters, CHMM has a Bachelor of Science in Natural Resources and Environmental Science from Purdue University, which they obtained from 2007 to 2011. In 2013, they obtained EHSMS Internal Auditor Training certification. In 2016, they obtained eRailSafe certification from eVerifile. In 2019, they obtained the Certified Environmental and Safety Compliance Officer® certification from the National Registry of Environmental Professionals, and the Certified Hazardous Materials Manager certification from the Institute of Hazardous Materials Management. Megan also has a HAZWOPER 40 Hour - Emergency Response Technician certification from OSHA.
