Duran Gonzalez

Duran Gonzalez, M.S., is a Scientist I at Encapsulate since May 2022, previously serving as a Student Intern and UConn TIP Fellow. With extensive experience in biochemistry and molecular biology, Duran worked as a Laboratory Manager for the Kat Milligan-McClellan lab at the University of Connecticut from August 2021 to September 2022 and as a Biochemist I at Eurofins Lancaster Laboratories, conducting analytical testing on proteins and antibody-based drug products. Prior roles include Research Assistant in Dr. Elaine Lee's lab, focusing on genetic mechanisms of stress adaptation, and Undergraduate Research Assistant in the Nelson Lab, studying embryonic development. Duran's educational background includes a Bachelor of Arts in Molecular and Cell Biology and a Professional Science Master's in Applied Genomics, both from the University of Connecticut.
