Annabel Burkard is currently working as a Customer Development Manager at Encare, where Annabel focuses on enhancing ERAS®. Prior to this, Annabel worked as a Medical Science Liaison at AMRA Medical, where Annabel played a key role in supporting the commercialization process of a clinical device. With experience in biology, research, marketing, and project management, Annabel has a strong background in interdisciplinary collaboration and scientific communication. Annabel holds a Master's degree in Experimental and Medical Bioscience from Linköping University and has a wide range of experiences in the field of healthcare and life sciences.

Encare has the rights to commercialize surgical protocols developed by the ERAS® Society. The ERAS® Society, a non-profit scientific organization, develops perioperative care protocols and improves postoperative recovery through research, education, auditing and the application of scientific, evidence-based best practice. ERAS® Society has published a wide range of peer-reviewed publications that establishes, changes and updates best practice.
