Adam DeMont has a diverse work experience in the telecommunications industry. Adam currently works as a Project Designer at Encepta since August 2022. Adam's earlier roles include working as a Project Coordinator at Shaw Communications in 2018, a Build Network Designer at TELUS Communications from November 2016 to March 2018, and an RAN Engineer & Construction Manager at Huawei Technologies from May 2015 to May 2016.
Adam's career began in 2006 as a Network Operations Specialist at Bell. Adam then held various positions at Shaw Communications from 2008 to 2012, including Senior Coordinator, Outside Plant, and Fibre Optic Planner. Prior to that, they worked as a Junior Project Manager at RJE Canada ULC in 2007.
From 2012 to 2014, Adam worked at RHINO Technical Services as a Telecommunications Designer & Senior CAD Operator. In this role, they contributed to designing temporary and permanent fibre network rings, developed engineering specifications and work packages, and optimized fibre optic designs in the oil and gas industry.
Adam DeMont attended Cole Harbour District High School, where they completed their high school education in 1991. Afterward, they pursued a certificate in Drafting Technology at Nova Scotia Community College - NSCC from 1995 to 1996.
