Davide Zappetti

Davide Zappetti, Ph.D., currently serves as a Robotics Specialist at Enchanted Tools since October 2021. Prior to this role, Davide worked at École polytechnique fédérale de Lausanne from March 2016 to August 2021 as a Scientific Researcher and was also the Teaching Assistant Coordinator for the Evolutionary Robotics course, focusing on AI-assisted methodologies and heuristic optimization for robotic applications. Davide earned a Ph.D. in Robotics from EPFL between August 2016 and January 2021, complemented by a Master's degree in Nanotechnologies Engineering from Sapienza Università di Roma (2011-2014) and a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Politecnico di Bari (2008-2011). Earlier experience includes a position as an R&D Junior Engineer at Sensirion, where responsibilities included data analysis, planning and executing experiments, and preparing technical reports.
