Michael Steinlicht is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in wastewater management and operations. Currently serving as the General Manager of the Encina Wastewater Authority since August 1992, Michael has played a pivotal role in managing the Encina Joint Sewerage System for six member agencies in northwest San Diego County. Michael's career includes previous positions such as Assistant General Manager, Director of General Services, Maintenance Manager, and Power Plant Operator at the same organization. Prior to joining Encina Wastewater Authority, Michael worked as a Plant Engineer at HomeFederal Bank and as an Electronic Technician in the US Navy. Michael holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Management and Operations from the University of Phoenix and has completed Post Graduate Studies in Water and Wastewater Executive Management at the UNC Kenan-Flagler Business School.
