Jessi Cummings

Jessi Cummings is an experienced educator and facilitator with a strong background in psychology and learning sciences. Currently serving as an instructor at Salt Lake Community College since January 2017, Jessi creates innovative classroom and eLearning content while effectively transitioning in-person classes to virtual formats. In addition to classroom instruction, Jessi volunteers as a group facilitator for LGBTQ+ support groups and has held various roles in educational settings, including behavior specialist and author success manager at Pluralsight, where responsibilities included managing content creation and author relationships. Jessi's previous experiences also encompass teaching special education and conducting research in educational psychology. Jessi holds a PhD in Educational Psychology from the University of Houston and multiple degrees in education and communication from Westminster University.
