Kristen Valentine has a diverse work experience in the field of immunology research. Kristen is currently working as a Scientist I at Encoded Therapeutics Inc. since March 2022. Prior to this, from August 2019 to March 2022, Kristen worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher at La Jolla Institute for Immunology, where they focused on evaluating the efficacy of targeted T cell vaccines against SARS-CoV-2 in mouse models.

Before their postdoctoral position, Kristen was a PhD candidate at UC Merced from August 2014 to May 2019. Kristen'sresearch during this time involved studying a novel follicular CD8 T cell subset and its role in promoting B cell responses during autoimmune diseases.
