Sujina Mali, Ph.D.

Sujina Mali, Ph.D. has a diverse range of work experience. Sujina is currently working at Encoded Therapeutics Inc. as a Scientist II since March 2023. Prior to this role, they worked at the same company as a Scientist I from April 2021 to March 2023. Before joining Encoded Therapeutics Inc., they were a Postdoctoral Researcher at Washington University in St. Louis from June 2018 to April 2021. Sujina also served as a Graduate Research And Teaching Assistant at the University of Houston from August 2013 to May 2018. Prior to their time at the University of Houston, Sujina was a Lecturer at Amrit Campus (ASCOL) from April 2013 to July 2013. Additionally, they worked as a Lecturer at the Central Department of Biotechnology, Tribhuvan University from July 2012 to December 2012.

Sujina Mali, Ph.D. completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Microbiology at Amrit Campus from 2005 to 2009. Sujina then pursued a Master of Science in Biotechnology at the Central Department of Biotechnology, where they studied from 2009 to 2012. Finally, they obtained their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Biochemistry from the University of Houston, completing their studies from 2013 to 2018.
