Tselmeg Amarlkhagva

Tselmeg Amarlkhagva has a diverse work experience in research roles. Tselmeg currently works as a Research II at Encoded Therapeutics Inc. starting in September 2022. Prior to this, they were a Research Associate II at Charles River Laboratories from April 2022 to September 2022. Before that, they worked as a Research Associate I at Charles River Laboratories from September 2020 to April 2022. Tselmeg also gained valuable experience as an Undergraduate Student Researcher and participated in the Gorman Scholars Program at UC Santa Barbara from June 2017 to June 2020. During this time, they conducted a research project on the ketogenic diet as a potential treatment for polycystic kidney disease and developed their research and public speaking skills in a laboratory setting.

Tselmeg Amarlkhagva attended Oakland Technical High School from 2011 to 2015. They did not obtain a degree or focus on a specific field of study during this time. After completing high school, Tselmeg pursued higher education at UC Santa Barbara from 2015 to 2019. They earned a degree in Biological Sciences, with a specialization in Cell and Developmental Biology.
