Alex Overton

Alex Overton is an experienced software developer and automation tester, currently serving as a Senior Automation Tester at EncompaaS since January 2022, focusing on automation tests using C# and Postman within an agile team. Previously, Alex held roles as a Technical Consultant/Developer at Miktysh and Software Developer at Overton IT, while also being self-employed as a Software Developer. With a 15-year tenure in the TRIM/HPE Records Manager/Micro Focus Content Manager team, Alex's background includes software development roles at Micro Focus and Hewlett Packard Enterprise following the acquisition of TOWER Software, where development work on the TRIM product began. Alex's career in software development started at TOWER Software in October 1997, with responsibilities ranging from software testing to customer support. Education was completed at UC Senior Secondary College Lake Ginninderra between 1986 and 1987.
