Liz Burkhart

Liz Burkhart has a diverse work experience in various industries and roles. Liz currently serves as the Director of Development & Community Relations at Encompass Community Services, where they oversee safety net services to ensure community members have access to healthcare and support. Prior to this, Liz worked as a Branding & Marketing Consultant at Strategic Comms | Integrated MKT | PR and held the position of VP of Operations at HitCheck, a sports-tech startup, where they managed various aspects of the business. Liz also worked at Whole Foods Market as a Sr. Global Media Relations Specialist and played a significant role in strategic communications campaigns, crisis communications, media outreach, and new store opening support. Additionally, they have experience as a Volunteer Teacher in Ghana, an Assistant Publicist at Frost Media Relations, and a Public Relations Intern at Cohn & Wolfe. Overall, Liz has a strong background in communications, marketing, and community development.

Liz Burkhart completed their high school education at Garden Spot High School from 2001 to 2005. Liz then went on to earn a Bachelor of Science degree in Public Relations/Image Management from The University of Texas at Austin, where they studied from 2005 to 2008.
