Jake Evans

Jake Evans has over 15 years of experience in technical operations within the broadcast and communications industry. Currently serving as a Technical Operations Specialist at Encompass Digital Media, Inc. since 2008, Jake provides help desk support for a diverse range of clients, including major networks such as ABC, CBS, CNN, and ESPN. Responsibilities include the transmission and maintenance of video services over various platforms, expert management of digital video compression and encryption systems, and oversight of uplink and downlink services. Previous experience includes a role as a Supervisor in Atlanta Transmission Operations, where Jake supported real-time broadcast services for the Defense Video & Imagery Distribution System. Earlier in the career, Jake served as a Small Arms Repairman/Armorer for Marine Corps Recruiting, ensuring the maintenance and repair of weapon systems. Jake graduated from the Ordnance School of Small Arms Repair in 2001.
