Jim Schuster

Jim Schuster currently serves as the Owner of Steel Magnolia LLC since June 2024. With extensive experience at Encompass Digital Media, Inc., Schuster has held multiple roles including Senior Vice President of Sales Engineering & Atlanta Facilities for North America and Global Vice President, Major Accounts & Sales Engineering since July 2010. Encompass specializes in media capture, processing, distribution, and delivery services. Schuster previously held the position of Executive Vice President and General Manager at Encompass Atlanta, and before that was Executive Vice President at BFI | Broadcast Facilities, Inc. Following the acquisition of BFI's Satellite Services Division by Crawford Communications, Schuster served as EVP and President of that division from October 1986 until February 2010. Schuster holds an MBA from the University of Georgia's Terry College of Business and a Bachelor’s Degree in Electronics and Satellite Communications from Pennsylvania College of Technology.
