Mark Overby

Mark Overby has extensive experience in broadcast media, currently serving as a Master Control Operator for Encompass Digital Media, Inc. since May 2018, where responsibilities include operating Master Control for various television stations, quality control, and coordinating with news departments. Prior to this role, Overby worked at Cox Media Group-Athens as an On-Air Personality and Producer from January 2008 to June 2015, and at Southern Broadcasting Companies, Inc. from October 2000 to January 2008, where a variety of tasks were undertaken, including production assistance and on-air talent roles. Experience also includes serving as a Board Operator for Cox Radio Atlanta from February 2004 to May 2005, managing live programming and technical issues. Overby holds an ABJ in Telecommunications Arts from The University of Georgia and graduated from West Hall High School with a focus on college preparatory studies.
