Edmund Ball

Edmund Ball joined Encompass Health, formerly HealthSouth, in 2020 as chief real estate officer. Over the last 15 years, he has worked in a variety of corporate real estate roles as a commercial broker, third party consultant and user. As chief real estate officer, he oversees the acquisition of sites for Encompass Health’s new inpatient rehabilitation hospitals as well as the transactional and administrative management of Encompass Health’s existing portfolio. Ball is a native of Charlotte, North Carolina and received his bachelor’s degree from the University of North Carolina – Chapel Hill.
