Clay Creighton has a diverse work experience spanning over a decade. Clay began their career in 2008 as a Server at Silver Creek Diner. In 2009, they worked as a Cashier and Barista at Panera Bread. Clay then joined The Home Depot as a Cashier from 2011 to 2012. In 2013, Clay worked as a Software Quality Assurance Tester at Integware, Inc. Here they executed test cases, reported defects, and communicated critical issues.

From 2014 onwards, Clay worked at Encompass Technologies where they held multiple roles. Clay started as a Software Analyst from 2014 to 2015, and then worked as a Project Manager for Implementations from 2015 to 2016. From 2016 to 2020, Clay served as a Product Manager for the CRM product. In this role, they managed product development, support, and quality assurance. Clay also interfaced with 35,000 active users. In February 2020, Clay was promoted to Software Director and became the leader of SaaS product teams across three business functions - Accounting, CRM, and Order Management. Clay managed a team of ~60 employees and 50,000 active users.

Clay Creighton holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and Computer Information Services from Colorado State University, which they obtained from 2010 to 2014. In addition to their degree, Clay has obtained several certifications. In 2015, they completed certifications in Advanced Excel and Business Accounting at Front Range Community College. Later, in 2017, they obtained a certification in Project Management: Success Principles, also from Front Range Community College. Recently, in 2022, Clay obtained several certifications from the Product Institute, including Market Research 101, Metrics, UX Design Fundamentals, User Research, and Tech Fundamentals. Clay also obtained a certification in Product Management Foundations from the same institution earlier in 2022.
