Katie Zhao, CPA, is an accomplished accounting professional with extensive experience in financial reporting and technical accounting. Currently serving as the Chief Accounting Officer at Encore Capital Group, Katie has held various senior roles including Senior Director and Director of Financial Reporting. Prior to joining Encore Capital Group, Katie gained valuable experience as an Assurance Associate at PricewaterhouseCoopers and as a Financial Service Intern at Merrill Lynch. Katie Zhao holds a Master of Science in Accountancy from San Diego State University and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of Electronic Science and Technology of China.
