Pete Palmgren

Pete Palmgren helps Encore Electric customers in the high-country region of Colorado overcome the challenges they face performing preconstruction and construction tasks in variable weather conditions and sometimes rugged terrain. For the past 25 years, he has overseen projects of all types and sizes, meeting complex engineering demands while managing the overall financial and operations side of each project.

In directing the Colorado mountain division, Palmgren has built a reputation for developing and maintaining strong client relationships. He is known by his construction team for his insightfulness with solving difficult tasks, assisting in their development efforts, and keeping projects on track to completion. Prior to his present title, Palmgren has worked on multiple challenging, mountain, projects for Vail Resorts, the World Ski Championships, Vail Valley Medical Center, Aspen’s Obermeyer Place, and Monarch/Limelight Lodge, and Aspen High School and Middle School. His work on the Vail Valley’s Shaw Cancer Treatment Center, Valley View Hospital, and Valley View Cancer Treatment Center in Glenwood Springs are highlights of a career dedicated to building communities by taking on challenging projects at Encore.

Palmgren attended the South Dakota School of Mining and Technology and is a graduate of the Colorado BAT Program. He is a licensed electrician.
