Wade Stencel

Wade Stencel is the Chief Operating Officer at Encore Electric, where he oversees projects throughout Colorado, Wyoming and Montana. An industry veteran with 24 years of service, Stencel launched his career with Encore Electric following internships at the company and another local electrical service provider. Mentored by his Encore Electric colleagues, and guided by shared values and a strong work ethic, Stencel rose through the ranks from pricing estimator to senior estimator before advancing to his present management role.

Stencel credits his involvement on the Colorado Rockies Redevelopment project for inspiring his focus on teamwork, goal-setting and work/life balance. He is eager to share his insights and experience with the new generation of employees joining the Encore Electric family. Stencel guides his team through hands-on, problem-solving experiences that foster trust, build mastery and leverage Encores extensive resources on behalf of its customers.

Stencel earned a bachelor’s degree from Colorado State University in Construction Management and regularly participates in continuing education classes. He has been a featured presenter at National Estimators Association meetings.
