Beth O'Brien

Beth O'Brien is the Founder and CEO of Encore Finance Capital since 2023. Beth is also an official member of Forbes Real Estate Council since 2017. Previously, they worked as the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of CoreVest Finance, a leading provider of mortgages to the residential investor community, from 2014 to 2022. Before that, they held the role of Executive Vice President and Managing Director at Auction.com from 2011 to 2014. Beth O'Brien was also the Founder and President of AuctionFinance.com during the same period. Prior to that, they worked at Citi as a Director, responsible for strategic action planning and RMBS trading and securitization from 2006 to 2011. Beth also worked at Goldman Sachs as an Executive Director, responsible for fundraising, investor relations, distressed asset acquisitions, investment structuring, and portfolio management from 1993 to 2002. Beth O'Brien began their career as an Associate at Latham & Watkins from 1990 to 1993.

Beth O'Brien earned a JD degree in Law from Georgetown University Law Center, graduating in 1990. Prior to that, they attended Università Bocconi in 1986-1987 to study business. Beth also completed a BA degree at the University of Pennsylvania from 1983 to 1986.
