Mathew Woods

Mathew Woods is an experienced professional currently serving as the Area Director of Venues at Encore since September 2011, where responsibilities include overseeing operations for eight venues in South Florida and managing daily activities at the primary location's event technology operation. Additionally, Mathew has served in the U.S. Navy Reserve since February 2014 as a Yeoman Chief Petty Officer, currently acting as Public Affairs Officer and Leading Chief Petty Officer. As a Multimedia Producer for Six Ave Productions since January 2006, Mathew oversees various media content projects. Previous experience includes serving as the Director of Technology for the Puerto Rican Chamber of Commerce of South Florida and holding a Storekeeper position in the US Navy from 2001 to 2005, where Mathew received several commendations. Mathew is pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Communication at Florida International University and holds multiple degrees from Miami Dade College and SAE Institute in related fields.
