Jacob Clark

Vice President of Project Development at Encore Renewable Energy

Jacob Clark has a diverse range of work experience in the energy and legal sectors. Jacob is currently working as the Vice President of Project Development at Encore Renewable Energy since February 2022, where they previously held the position of Project Developer from March 2019 to March 2022. Prior to that, Jacob worked as a Staff Attorney at the Vermont Department of Public Service from October 2017 to March 2019. Jacob also has experience as a Contract Attorney at Energy Regulatory Law from March 2014 to March 2016. Jacob started their career as an Associate at the International Municipal Lawyers Association in 2013. During their time at JP Morgan Chase Office of Environmental Affairs from June 2012 to May 2013, they served as a Legal Analyst, monitoring and analyzing environmental regulations and policies. Jacob gained legal experience as a Law Student at George Washington University Law School from August 2010 to May 2013. Additionally, Jacob interned at the U.S. Department of Energy in the summer of 2011. Their earliest work experience was as a Field Engineer at Turner Construction, where they held the role of Assistant Field Superintendent and had responsibilities in schedule analysis and contract management from 2008 to 2010.

Jacob Clark completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Mechanical Engineering from Bucknell University between 2003 and 2007. Jacob then pursued their Juris Doctorate (JD) degree in Energy and Environmental Law from The George Washington University Law School from 2010 to 2013. Jacob Clark has also obtained additional certifications including being admitted to practice in the District of Columbia and achieving the LEED AP certification from the USGBC - National Capital Region Chapter.
