Kate Desrochers

Kate Desrochers has a diverse range of work experience in various industries. Kate'smost recent position is as a Senior Director of Strategy and Systems at Encore Renewable Energy, a role they have held since March 2023. Prior to this, they were the Director of Construction and Procurement at Encore Renewable Energy from March 2022 to March 2023. Kate also worked as a Project Manager-Field Services at the same company from August 2020 to March 2022.

Before joining Encore Renewable Energy, they served as the Projects/Initiatives Manager at Packetized Energy from May 2018 to July 2020.

In 2014, Kate worked as an Analyst at Vermont Energy Investment Corporation where they provided consulting services in grid modernization and energy efficiency programs. Kate conducted total energy system modeling for Vermont and Pennsylvania as part of two DOE Sunshot projects and facilitated stakeholder engagement.

From 2012 to 2014, they worked as a Researcher at Marstel Day, LLC where they provided spatial analysis and qualitative analysis support for the Air Force Encroachment Management Program. Kate also worked at Dartmouth College Sustainability Office as a Project Manager and at The Big Green Bus as a Member of the Educational Team during the same period.

Kate'searlier experiences include working as an Economics Tutor at Dartmouth Tutor Clearinghouse from 2010 to 2012 and as a Programming Intern at Northern Forest Canoe Trail in 2011. Kate also held internships at Dartmouth Sustainable Living Center and Summer Enrichment at Dartmouth (SEAD) in 2011 and 2010 respectively.

Kate Desrochers earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from Quantic School of Business and Technology in 2018. Prior to that, they received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Geography from Dartmouth College in the years 2008 to 2012. In terms of their high school education, Kate attended St. Johnsbury Academy, although the specific start and end years are unknown. Additionally, they obtained a certification in NCI Charrette Management and Facilitation from the National Charrette Institute in January 2014.
