Laura Berry

Laura Berry has a strong background in energy and business development. Laura currently works as a Business Development Manager at Encore Renewable Energy, starting in September 2022. Prior to this, they held various roles at Solar Company from May 2020 to January 2022, including Vice President of Business Development. Laura'sresponsibilities at Solar Company included leading project origination and development teams, providing advice on solar power to clients, and developing energy efficiency strategies.

Before joining Solar Company, Laura worked at Southern Research from June 2015 to May 2020. Laura'sroles at Southern Research included Manager of Low Carbon Energy, where they focused on finding sustainable and responsible energy sources, and Energy & Environment Business Development Manager.

Laura also has experience at Alabama Power Company, where they held multiple roles from September 2005 to July 2015. These roles included Operations Team Leader, Outage Manager, Maintenance Team Leader, Compliance and Laboratory Team Leader, and Senior Engineer. Additionally, they briefly worked as a Financial Compliance Team Leader at Alabama Power Company in 2015.

Earlier in their career, Laura worked as a Business Development Manager at Stork from June 2004 to September 2005, and as an Engineer at URS Corporation from June 2001 to June 2004.

Laura Berry attended Auburn University from 1996 to 2001, where they earned a Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering.
