Mike Schuetter

Mike Schuetter has a strong background in information security, with extensive experience in leadership roles. Mike most recently served as the Chief Information Security Officer at Encore Technologies, where they provided oversight and leadership for Corporate IT and Information Security. In this role, they developed a consistent and secure technology strategy for the company and led annual SOC 2 Type 2 examinations. Prior to this, they were the Vice President - Information Security at Encore Technologies, where they built and managed the Information Security Program, focusing on risk, security, and compliance initiatives. Mike also played a key role in leading the company's first SOC2 Report. Prior to CBTS, Mike developed an information security operations program/department for a global manufacturer as a Sr. Manager - Information Security. Mike was responsible for staffing, training, and the overall function of the program, which comprised 24 resources focused on operations, assessment, and monitoring/incident response. Mike began their career as a Network Security Consultant at SARCOM.

Mike Schuetter attended The University of Toledo from 1986 to 1990, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer Engineering. Mike also holds certifications as a retired Cisco CCIE from Cisco, obtained in November 2000, and a CISSP from ISC2, although the specific month and year of obtaining the CISSP certification are not provided.
