Joseph Lowry

President at Encorus Group

Joseph Lowry started their career as an All Source Intelligence Analyst in the US Army from September 2006 to January 2012. Joseph then worked as a Mechanical Engineer at Encorus Group from June 2006 to December 2011, where they were responsible for designing components and systems. Joseph later became the President of Encorus Group in December 2011, leading business development efforts and ensuring the overall success of projects. In 2018, Joseph co-founded UNOVA Coworking, a space dedicated to fostering community and supporting small businesses in Western New York and the southtowns.

Joseph Lowry attended the Rochester Institute of Technology from 2001 to 2006, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering. In 2014, they participated in the Entrepreneurship Bootcamp for Veterans at Louisiana State University. From 2017 to 2018, they completed the Core Program at the University at Buffalo School of Management, The State University of New York, with a focus on the Center for Entrepreneurial Leadership.
