Chris Howat

Chris Howat currently serves as the Executive Vice President, Treasurer, and Chief Financial Officer at Encova Insurance, a position held since April 2017. With significant experience in the insurance industry, Howat has also held similar roles at BrickStreet Insurance since March 2005. Prior to these positions, Howat was the Chief Financial Officer for the West Virginia Workers Compensation Commission from 2003 to 2005 and worked as a Manager at Arnett Foster Toothman PLLC between 1993 and 2000. Academic credentials include a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from West Virginia University, attended from 1990 to 1992, and studies at New York University from 1988 to 1990.
