Ryan Downing

Ryan Downing has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Ryan began their career as a Management Trainee at Enterprise Rent A Car in 2002. Ryan then transitioned to State Auto Insurance, where they worked as a Claim Specialist II before moving on to become a Business Systems Analyst II. At State Auto Insurance, they were responsible for creating and reviewing requirements and executing multiple projects. Following their time at State Auto Insurance, Ryan joined SafeAuto as a Business Analyst, where they worked on developing reports and creating SSIS packages for their Data Warehouse. Ryan also worked as a Sr. ETL/SQL Server Developer, where they created complex Stored Procedures and OLAP cubes using SSAS. Currently, Ryan holds the position of Data Warehouse Team Lead at Encova Insurance, where they lead a team and manages the conversion of SSIS packages and SSAS cubes. Their expertise includes data modeling, ETL development, and project management.

Ryan Downing attended Franklin University from 2008 to 2010 where they obtained an Associates Degree in Information Technology. Prior to that, from 1996 to 2001, they attended Bowling Green State University and earned a Bachelor's degree in Sport Management.
