Kshitij Malik has a diverse work experience spanning different industries. Kshitij started their career in 2004 as a Duty Manager at Luxury Collection Hotels. Kshitij later became an Assistant Manager in Six Sigma, implementing quality assurance programs and achieving significant benefits for the company.
In 2008, they joined ITC Green Centre as a Six Sigma Manager and Rooms Division Opera PMS Lead Installer, successfully handling projects and implementing changes in SOPs.
From 2011 to 2013, Kshitij served as a Front Office Manager for Luxury Collection Hotel ITC Mughal, managing a team and hosting high-profile guests, including the Canadian Prime Minister.
Kshitij then worked at Starwood Hotels & Resorts as a Guest Services Manager and Front Office & VIP Club Manager, driving superior customer service and improving operations.
In 2016, Kshitij transitioned to the insurance industry, working as an Insurance Advisor at RBC Insurance for a brief period. Kshitij provided clients with life, disability, and critical illness insurance solutions, as well as advising on travel insurance needs.
From 2016 to 2020, they served as the Managing Director of End Of The Roll Flooring Centres, offering a wide range of flooring solutions.
In 2017, they became a Financial Advisor at Sun Life, specializing in investment and insurance sales for businesses and business owners. Kshitij'sexpertise included buy & sell agreement funding and sustainability solutions through segregated funds.
In 2021, Kshitij became the Director of AKM Financial Solutions, working with clients to provide insurance and investment solutions, including life, health, disability, and travel insurance coverages.
Currently, they are a Realtor at Realbiz Realty Inc., utilizing their investment and risk management experience to provide client-focused and need-based residential real estate solutions, with expertise in pre-construction sales.
Kshitij Malik has a diverse education history. Kshitij completed their Senior Secondary education in Commerce at Air Force Bal Bharti School from 1988 to 2000. In 2000, they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Tourism Studies from an undisclosed institution. In the same year, they also completed a Management Training program for Hoteliering with a focus on Accommodations - Front Office at ITC Hotels Management Institute. Kshitij further pursued their studies and obtained a Master's degree in Tourism Management from an undisclosed institution between 2005 and 2007. Kshitij also completed a Six Sigma Black Belt program in Process Variation Management from ITC Management Institute from 2006 to 2009. Apart from tourism-related studies, in 2016 they completed a Life License Qualification Program with a specialization in Life, Accident & Sickness Insurance, Segregated Funds, Ethics & Professional Practice at Durham College. Lastly, Kshitij completed a Canadian Investment Funds Course at the Investment Funds Institute of Canada in 2017.
