Cem Bakioğlu

Bakioğlu Holding Chairman of the Board of Directors Cem Bakioğlu was born in 1945 in İzmir. He studied at the Izmir Academy of Economic and Commercial Sciences. He founded Bak Ambalaj Sanayi ve Ticaret A.Ş. in 1973.

Cem Bakioğlu, most of its facilities are located in İzmir Çiğli Atatürk Organized Industrial Zone and mainly in the packaging sector; Apart from this, it is the owner of the companies within the body of Bakioğlu Holding, which operates in the fields of construction, insurance, informatics and transportation, and completed its food-oriented investment with the freeze-drying system and Fruit and Vegetable production for the first time in Turkey in 2017.

Ege TV and Radio have also been active in the media sector with Ege, donating all their equipment to Ege University Faculty of Communication and withdrawing from this sector.

In 1995, he planted 70,000 trees in the Bakioğlu Forest, which he established around Izmir Adnan Menderes Airport. Cem Bakioğlu, who is environmentally friendly and passionate about green, founded the Aegean Forest Foundation in 1995 and has contributed to the afforestation of the Aegean Region by planting approximately 10 million saplings with donations, and to the environmental future of the country with educational activities and permanent projects.

He also contributed to the field of education by having Cem Bakioğlu Anatolian High School with 24 classrooms built in Bornova in 1995. He founded Çiğli Kent Hospital in 2002 and led the way in the opening of Kent Alsancak in 2008 and Kent Bayraklı Medical Center in 2018. He is a member of TÜSİAD and ESİAD and has been in the management of Kipa, Asad and Gucbirligi. He is the Chairman of the Board of Enda Enerji Holding A.Ş and Egenda Ege Enerji Üretim A.Ş.
