Whitney Bembenick is an experienced leader in the food science and confectionery industries, currently serving as a Board Member and Strategic Planning Committee Member at the National Confectioners Association since July 2024. As Chief Revenue Officer at Endangered Species Chocolate since March 2013, Whitney has been instrumental in the strategic growth plan involving sales, innovation, and marketing. Previous roles at Endangered Species Chocolate include Director of Marketing & Innovation, Director of Innovation, and R&D Manager, contributing significantly to product development and brand expansion. Prior experience includes positions as a Food Technologist at Sensient and a Production Resource at PepsiCo - Frito Lay. Whitney holds a Bachelor of Science in Food Science from Purdue University, where research on the toxicity of fullerenes was presented at a national conference.
