Omar Ruiz

Omar Ruiz has extensive experience in the energy sector, particularly in operation and maintenance of thermal power plants. Currently serving as Jefe Departamento Operaciones at ENDE Andina S.A.M. since July 2013, Omar oversees a generating capacity of 460 MW across three plants. Previous roles include various supervisory positions at multiple combined cycle power plants, where responsibilities included maintenance and operational oversight. Additionally, Omar has undertaken technical consultancy and training in electrical protections. Educational qualifications include a degree in Electrical Engineering, multiple master's degrees, and specialized certifications in automation and electrical protections.
