Thomas G. Tsao

Thomas G. Tsao is a seasoned entrepreneur and investment professional with a diverse background in technology and venture capital. Co-founder of Gobi Partners since 2002, Tsao has supported early and growth-stage entrepreneurs in the innovation sector. Additional roles include Committee Member of MyCIF at the Securities Commission Malaysia, Board Member for Endeavor Malaysia and the Middle East Venture Capital Association, and prior CEO of DMG, where Tsao significantly increased revenues. Notably, Tsao co-founded the Beijing Technology Development Fund, one of China's first US dollar venture capital funds, and has held various leadership positions across multiple companies, including Asia2B.com and Myrice.com. Tsao holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Harvard University.
