Derek Speirs

Derek Speirs is a legal professional with extensive experience in corporate law. Currently serving as the Head of Legal - Group Support at Endeavour Group since July 2021, Derek has held significant roles in leading legal positions, including Senior M&A Lawyer at Woolworths Group and Senior Counsel at GE Transportation and Mining. Prior to these positions, Derek worked as a Senior Associate at Ashurst Australia and Blake Dawson, and was a Partner at Routledge-Modise. Derek began a legal career in 1995 as a Senior Associate at Edelstein Bosman Attorneys. Educational qualifications include a BProc in Law from the University of Pretoria, earned between 1992 and 1995.
