Nikolay Petrov

Nikolay Petrov is a seasoned geologist with extensive experience in exploration and project management in the mining sector. Currently serving as Principal Geologist at Endeavour Mining since January 2023, and as a Consulting Geologist for Metalhunt Ltd. since June 2016, Nikolay aims to attract new exploration companies to the Balkan region. Previous roles include Consulting Geologist at Agnico Eagle Finland, Lead Exploration Geologist at Titan Minerals Ltd, Exploration Manager at Gold Bull Resources and Raiden Resources Limited, and Exploration Manager at Black Sea Copper & Gold Corp. Nikolay also served as an Assistant Professor at the Geological Institute at the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences for over a decade. Nikolay earned a PhD in Geology/Earth Science from Sofia University St. Kliment Ohridski.
