Shyam Balsé

Shyam Balsé is an accomplished showrunner and television producer with extensive experience in unscripted programming. Currently serving as the showrunner for ABC’s "Extreme Makeover Home Edition" at Endemol Shine North America since May 2023, Balsé has held several key positions, including SVP and VP of Unscripted Original Series at Endemol Shine and roles such as Co Executive Producer on notable projects like NBC's "First Dates" and "Kicking & Screaming." Balsé's background includes supervising production on "The Biggest Loser" and "American Dream Builders," as well as producing commercials for high-profile clients through Tempered Entertainment. Educational credentials include an MFA in Film Production from the University of Southern California and a BA in Anthropology from UC San Diego.
