Michael Melia has a diverse work experience in marketing and education. From 2006 to 2007, they worked as a substitute and student teacher at Medway High School, where they taught English and provided feedback to students on their essays. In 2007, they became an Assistant Manager at Follett, collaborating with publishers and handling administrative tasks. From 2008 to 2017, Michael worked at Summit Educational Group, initially as an Operations Coordinator, supporting client services and overseeing materials inventory. Michael later became a Marketing Manager, raising the company profile through print and digital promotional materials. From 2017 to 2019, Michael served as a Marketing Manager at National Geographic Learning, overseeing marketing efforts for reading/language arts and ELL programs. Michael then joined Northeastern University as a Marketing Manager, managing marketing strategy and lead generation for select degree programs. Currently, Michael is the Director of Marketing at Endicott College, where they lead marketing initiatives.
Michael Melia earned their BA in English and Secondary Education from Framingham State University from 2003 to 2006. Prior to that, they completed their high school education at Medway High School from 1998 to 2002.
