Gonçalo Fernandes is an experienced engineer specializing in mechanical engineering with a comprehensive background in operational and maintenance engineering, project management, and technical support. Currently serving as an O&M Engineer at ENDIPREV since June 2022, Gonçalo is responsible for the development and validation of Lockout Tagout and electrical safety procedures, as well as providing site support for significant wind turbine projects including the GE Haliade-X and Haliade-150 models across multiple locations in France and the USA. Prior experience includes a role as Production and Sales Engineer at Colt Portugal S.A., focusing on smoke exhaust and ventilation projects, and a Service Leader Trainee position at Schindler, where Gonçalo coordinated repairs and supervised a team of technicians. Gonçalo holds a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from NOVA School of Science and Technology, complemented by an Erasmus+ program at the Technical University of Sofia and a Bachelor's degree from the same institution.
