Ira Weisberg has a long history of working in the pharmaceutical industry. Ira began their career in 1986 as Vice President of Manufacturing at Interferon Sciences. Ira then moved on to Aventis Behring in 1999, where they held the position of Senior Vice President of Business Development. In 2003, they became the Executive Director of Business Development at Chugai Pharma. In 2008, they were the Senior Vice President of Business Development at LifeCycle Pharma. In 2011, they took on the role of CEO (Acting) and Director at AlphaVax. Ira then started their own consulting business, Weisberg Consulting LLC, in 2009, where they provided services in Business and Corporate Development, Strategic Marketing and Operations. Lastly, in 2013 they became the President and CEO of Amherst Pharmaceuticals, and in 2022 they became President and Chief Commercial Officer at Endonovo Therapeutics, Inc.
Ira Weisberg attended St. John's University from 1965 to 1969, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry.
