Franc Wiedmer

Franc Wiedmer is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in facilities management and research operations within academic and corporate research environments. Currently serving as the Facilities and Equipment Manager at Endotronix since June 2022, Wiedmer previously held the position of Virtual Lab Manager at HappiLabs for a brief period in early 2022. Notably, a significant tenure at Virginia Tech spanned from August 2006 to February 2021, where responsibilities included administration of the Integrated Life Sciences Building and coordination of the Obesity Cluster Labs. Prior roles include founding the Genomics & Bioinformatics Facility at the University of Massachusetts Amherst and serving as a Senior Research Associate at PerkinElmer LAS. Educational qualifications include a Master’s degree in Biotechnology from Northwestern University and a Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry from Colby College.
